I'm Scared. Really.

Just the other day, I was complaining about the extreme heat here in the tropics. Then, yesterday, as I was going home from a job interview in Manila, it started to rain. Not just showers, but it was raining so hard that we had a hard time driving.

Extreme weather change.

I am scared because I know this is not normal. I am no scientist or anything, but I do believe this has something to do with global warming.

I am scared for the future. I am now doing my part to reduce my carbon foot print and other wastes. I think we all need to.

In heat

The weather here in the tropics is extreme. The sweltering heat is just too hot to handle (oh, look at the word play Haha).

Not even scoops of dirty ice cream or halo-halo can quench the hot feeling. Argh.




This is too much torture. I just want to go somewhere cold(er)!

Make under?

No, I wasn't sucked into a black hole. I was just pulled into this craziness, called my uncle's business. It's summer and people really want to cool off. Thus, the frenzy in the resort.

After this frenzy, I plan to start renovating my room. My room is just plain mess right now that I can't even show you. LOL I just want my room to look a lot like this one. I forgot where I got this.



I love everything about this room. Simple. Clean. No fuss. I love the chandelier. I'm still in search of a good but cheap chandelier. I am tempted to buy something at Ebay or Urban Outfitters, but I am afraid it won't work out here in the Philippines. Still looking for second hand shops here in the area. That's about it. Nothing new and exciting happened the last time I updated. Maybe except for a job interview that I went to yesterday. I won't say which yet, I might jinx it. Haha

What They Wore: Backstage Chic

GORGEOUS!! I love how some models still look chic after a day's work in the office (aka the catwalk). It's as if the street is still their runway. I like all (I mean all) the outfits in this picture. I see a lot of cut-offs and tights outfit in the picture. It is also something I wanted to wear for so long. But in this sweltering heat in the third world, I don't think I would last a day without me wanting to remove the sticky tights in my leg. Haha Maybe during the cold summer nights? I just wish it would be that cold.

I know it's late...

but I just can't get over Hugh Jackman's opening of the Oscars. So damn funny! I did not know he can dance that well. Oh the hotness that is Hugh Jackman. Haha
